A professional service but on a smaller scale. You need small production batches for research and development? No problem. Pilot drying helps you and us understand how your product behaves during freeze-drying and the precise freeze-drying parameters needed for the perfect result.

The following two customer projects showcase how we deliver services over and above our standard services:
01/ “WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO DRY OUR PRODUCT COMPLETELY IN THE DARK?”
If that’s what your product requires, we’ll make it happen. For one customer, we carried out further processing of a highly sensitive liquid seaweed product. The product had to be stored not only in a refrigerated store, but also in the dark. To achieve this, we modified our facilities to enable us to guarantee that processing would be performed under red light only, and in the complete absence of UV light. A completely custom process just for this product.
02/ “WE CAN ONLY GET THE PRODUCT TO YOU IN SMALL BATCHES – IS THAT OK?”
We can do that too, as you can see from another of our projects. For operational reasons, the client could only deliver the product to us in small batches at discrete intervals. So we set up a separate storage area just for this job. This enabled us to store the individual batches until we’d received enough of the product to make it economically viable to start freeze-drying.
